The CN1 main connection cable for the Mitsubishi RV-3SB/3SJB series is the central connection cable between the compact 3 kg articulated robot and the CR2B controller. It transmits all control, motor and encoder signals and is therefore essential for robot operation.
Function of the CN1 cable
The CN1 cable (Connector 1 Assembly) establishes the main connection between robot arm and controller. For the compact RV-3SB and RV-3SJB models, it carries the servo motor currents of all axes, high-resolution encoder signals for position determination and the supply for the electromagnetic brakes. A damaged or worn CN1 cable leads to sporadic malfunctions or a complete stoppage of the robot.
