The HC-MFS23 is the compact variant within the HC-MFS series. The number 23 denotes the smaller assembly size compared to the HC-MFS73. Despite its small dimensions, the motor delivers sufficient torque for wrist and secondary axes. The serial encoder (‘S’) enables digital communication with the controller and offers higher resolution than older encoder types. The brushless design ensures freedom from maintenance and a long service life — important for axes that are difficult to access due to their installation position.
Installation position
The HC-MFS23 is typically installed in the wrist axes (J4, J5, J6) of Mitsubishi compact robots or as a secondary axis drive in SCARA robots. Its compact design allows integration into the confined space of the robot wrist.
