The Mitsubishi HC-MFS73 Motor Assy is a mid-range servo motor from the HC-MFS series, supplied as a complete assembly including a high-resolution encoder. As a brushless DC motor with integrated absolute encoder, the HC-MFS73 enables precise position control and immediate position detection after switching on — without a time-consuming homing run.
Technical features and function
The difference from the HC-MF73 lies in the integrated serial encoder (‘S’ in the type designation), which offers higher resolution and serial data transmission to the controller. This encoder technology enables more precise position control and simplifies the wiring. The HC-MFS series was optimized for the newer Mitsubishi robot controllers (CR750/CR800 series) and offers improved dynamics combined with reduced heat generation.
Motor Assy — complete assembly
The designation ‘Motor Assy’ means that you receive a ready-to-install assembly: servo motor with pre-mounted encoder, connector and, where applicable, brake. This simplifies the replacement considerably, as no separate encoder installation and adjustment is required.
