Profibus-DP is one of the most widely used fieldbus standards in industrial automation worldwide, especially in Siemens-based systems. The RZ577A enables seamless integration of a Mitsubishi robot into Profibus networks, so that it can communicate as a Profibus slave with a Siemens S7 PLC or other Profibus masters.
