Internal Cable Assy J2 – internal cable axis 2 for Mitsubishi RV-6SD and RV-6SQ
The internal cable RV-6SD J2 is available from ROBTEC as an original spare part, ex stock.
The internal cable for axis 2 of the Mitsubishi RV-6SD/SQ belongs to the internal wiring of the robot arm and transmits the control and encoder signals of the second axis. Axis J2 is the shoulder axis of the robot and moves the entire upper arm – correspondingly high demands are placed on this cable.
Function of the internal cable J2
The Internal Cable Assembly J2 runs inside the robot structure from the cable harness to axis 2 (shoulder joint). It transmits the motor currents for the servo drive as well as the high-resolution encoder signals for position feedback. Since the shoulder axis performs the largest angular movements while carrying considerable loads, the J2 cable is one of the most heavily stressed cable harnesses in the robot.
